AGC21 provides navigation processing, surveying and QC / QA services for 2D, 3D & 4D, towed streamer, land, OBC and TZ seismic projects as well as for rig moves, site surveys and pipeline inspections.
Navigation positioning data are independently processed to check processing flow parameters against acquisition offsets, recording parameters and appropriate processing requirements. Ideally, QC data are processed at the time of acquisition to validate the positioning data utilising the information from the crew, enabling any adjustments to be made close to the time of acquisition, when the crew is still in the prospect area. Navigation positioning data are analysed in detail and comparisons made with raw P2 data and the processed contractor P1s. This can bring to light any incorrect offsets, non-robust networks resulting from lack of data and/or geometry, inappropriate filters for ranges and bearings etc. For OBC surveys, it may be that receivers are not positioned correctly or that the incorrect source receiver pairings have been selected.
At AGC21, we feel it is important that our positioning QC professionals have a clear understanding of acquisition techniques and ideally, a good grounding in seismic processing. AGC21 is a member of the IAGC and all our client representatives have the appropriate HSE training according to these guidelines.
Each client representative has comprehensive liability and travel insurance provided by AGC21.
