As well as seismic and geotechnical engineering QC, AGC21 provides technical audit engineers able to make independent investigative analyses of the performance of surveying crews. This involves an assessment of the recording equipment and the procedures in place in order to reach the optimum performance of the crew as a whole.
In addition to carrying out technical audits at the start of a survey during the preparation period and for the first few days of a survey, to close the loop and maintain a good standard, follow-up audits are often required at regular intervals or when there is a crew or client change. Tests undertaken include streamer relative sensitivity tests, noise & distortion in land arrays, peak particle velocity observations for Vibroseis and explosive sources. At any time, acquisition parameter specifications can be checked and the technical part of contracts can be evaluated.
AGC21 is a member of the IAGC and all our client representatives have the appropriate HSE training according to these guidelines. Each client representative has comprehensive liability and travel insurance provided by AGC21.
